The first step to maintaining your UGG boots is to treat them with a waterproofing spray before slipping into them. By applying the spray, you help protect them from water, dirt and some oils. You don’t want to destroy your UGGs boots before they even have a chance to spoil you! We advise customers to use our own brand of water resistant spray, as we have rigorously tested it on our UGGs. If you do get your UGGs wet, and it ends up leaving spots on your boots there is an easy solution. Let these spots dry and rub the area where the spots are to make the marks go away. If you try to use a quick fix approach by using a hairdryer or a heater, you will end up damaging your boots. Do not leave them in direct contact with sunlight as this can fade and destroy the sheepskin.

Keeping your UGGs clean is essential in the longevity of your boots. The common misconception is that boots should be cleaned by a washing machine or by dry cleaning. These procedures are guaranteed to damaging and blemishing your UGGs. Our suggestion is to wet the boots with only cold water on the areas that need to be cleaned. We recommend that you use our UGG Care Kit. In this kit, you receive a shampoo and conditioner which contains Australian Tea Tree oils. These natural oils help to moisturise and nourish your UGGs. Use a soft sponge or toothbrush to clean the affected areas. Simply rinse off any excess soap and let your boots dry naturally. If you want to reshape them, fill them with butchers’ paper and let them dry. We strongly advise against using other chemicals that could harm your boots.
